Vendor Terms of Service

Doro — Fresh Meat Group Buying Platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or listing products as a vendor on the Doro platform (“the Platform”), you agree to comply with these Vendor Terms of Service (“Vendor TOS”), including the Buyer Protection Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register or list products.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete business and personal information.
  • Doro may refuse registration or terminate vendor accounts at its discretion.

3. Vendor Registration & Account Responsibilities

  • Vendors must create an account to list products on the Platform.
  • Vendors are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • All activity under a vendor account is the responsibility of the account holder.
  • Unauthorized access or fraudulent activity must be reported immediately to hello@doro.africa.

4. Product Listing & Accuracy

  • Vendors must provide complete, accurate, and truthful product information, including product category, sharing date and time, sharing location, portioning method, pricing, and any additional applicable costs.
  • Sharing must take place during daytime hours and at a clean, public, and easily accessible location approved by Doro and accessible to both buyers and the Doro team.
  • Vendors must make proper arrangements for cutters, cleaners, and any other required personnel to ensure smooth inspection, hygienic processing, and efficient sharing of products.
  • Product photos, descriptions, and representations must not be false, misleading, or deceptive in any form.
  • All listed products must comply with applicable food safety, livestock handling, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
  • Doro reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any product listing that does not meet platform requirements, quality standards, or safety expectations.

5. Deal Fulfillment & Quality Assurance

  • Vendors must deliver products in accordance with the approved listing and timelines.
  • Doro verifies all products for quality, safety, and accuracy before sharing or distribution.
  • If a product fails verification, the deal may be cancelled, and buyers refunded according to the Buyer Protection Policy .
  • Vendors are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for fair sharing among buyers.

6. Payments & Fees

Vendors shall receive payment for completed deals only after the Doro on-site team has physically inspected and verified that the listed product meets the agreed quality, quantity, and safety standards.

Verification is conducted immediately prior to the scheduled sharing and distribution process. Once the product is confirmed to be of the stated quality and standard, payment shall be released to the vendor before sharing or distribution commences.

If, upon inspection, the listed product is found to be materially substandard, unsafe, misrepresented, or fraudulent in any form, Doro reserves the right to immediately cancel the deal.

In such circumstances, all buyers shall be refunded their paid amounts in accordance with the Buyer Protection Policy , and no payment shall be released to the vendor for the cancelled deal.

  • Payment is conditional upon successful on-site verification of the product against its listing description.
  • Platform service fees are deducted from the total deal value as agreed and are non-refundable once a deal is approved.
  • Vendors are solely responsible for all applicable taxes, levies, duties, or statutory obligations arising from the sale or supply of products through the Platform.

7. Vendor Obligations & Prohibited Conduct

  • Vendors must not misrepresent products or manipulate deal fulfillment.
  • Vendors may not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the Platform.
  • Vendors must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform is owned or licensed by Doro Technology Solutions Ltd.
  • Vendors grant Doro a limited license to display product listings and associated media on the Platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as-is” and “as available.” Doro does not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific sales outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doro’s liability is limited to direct fees paid by the vendor to the Platform.
  • Doro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Platform use or transactions.

11. Indemnification

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold Doro Technology Solutions Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising from:

  • Violation of these Vendor TOS
  • Breach of applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Listing or sale of products on the Platform

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes should first be attempted to resolve directly with Doro via hello@doro.africa.
  • Unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
  • Vendors consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts for any legal action arising from Platform use.

13. Termination

  • Doro may suspend or terminate vendor accounts for violations of these Vendor TOS or other policies.
  • Termination does not release vendors from obligations incurred prior to termination.

14. Modifications to Vendor TOS

Doro reserves the right to update or modify these Vendor TOS at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Vendor TOS.
