Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Answers to common questions about buying, selling, payments, and sharing on Doro.

For Buyers

  • What is a Slot?

A slot represents a portion of a deal that will be shared among buyers. For example, if a deal has 10 slots, the item will be divided into 10 equal portions. Each buyer can purchase one or more slots and will receive their fair share of the item.

  • What is the sharing date?

The sharing date is when the meat is cut, processed, and delivered to buyers who have purchased slots. To participate, you must buy a slot before the sharing date.

  • Why should I pay now if the meat is shared in a week?

Paying early guarantees your slot and ensures you secure a portion of the meat before all slots are sold out. Early payment helps us plan and organize sharing efficiently.

  • Who handles the sharing?

The Doro team manages the entire process, including cutting, processing, and delivery. We follow strict hygienic procedures to ensure top-quality meat for all buyers.

  • Can I be present during the sharing?

Absolutely! Buyers are welcome to witness the meat sharing and quality control process. Please contact us beforehand to arrange a visit.

  • Can I pay a deposit to book a slot?

Yes, you can pay a deposit to secure your slot. However, full payment must be completed before the sharing date to participate. We ensure that buyers receive their meat on the same day as sharing.

  • How do you ensure the portions are equal?

We carefully weigh the meat before and after sharing to ensure every buyer receives a fair and equal portion.

  • What happens if I fail to complete my deposit payment?

If payment is not completed before the sharing date, your deposit will be refunded, and you will not receive a portion of the meat. To avoid disappointment, ensure payment is completed on time.

For Vendors

  • When do vendors get paid?

Vendors are paid once the Doro team verifies on-site that the item meets the agreed quality and standards.

  • What happens if my product does not meet Doro's standards?

If a product is found to be substandard, misrepresented, or fraudulent, the deal will be cancelled, and buyers will be refunded. The vendor will not receive payment for that deal.

  • Can Doro reject a listing?

Yes. Doro reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any listing that does not meet our quality, safety, or transparency standards.

  • How do I ensure my product gets approved?

Make sure your product is fresh, clearly described, and meets the agreed specifications. High-quality products have a better chance of being approved quickly.
