Doro — Fresh Meat Group Buying Platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Doro platform (“the Platform”), you agree to comply with these Terms of Service (“TOS”), including all policies referenced herein, such as the Buyer Protection Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have legal capacity in your jurisdiction.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or transacting.
  • The Platform may refuse service or terminate accounts at its discretion for non-compliance.

3. Account Registration

  • Users do not need to create account to buy a slot, but you must create an account to participate in selling as Vendor. See our Vendor Policy
  • Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials.
  • All activity under your account is your responsibility. Unauthorized access must be reported immediately to hello@doro.africa.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Buyers must pay for the slots they are interested in buying before the stated deadlines.
  • Buyers must provide correct contact information where applicable.
  • Buyers must not manipulate slots, portions, deals, or distribution processes.

5. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Vendors must provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and quantities.
  • Vendors must comply with applicable food safety and livestock handling standards.
  • Vendors must deliver products in accordance with our Terms of Service and timelines.
  • Vendors may not manipulate deal fulfillment, sharing, or distribution.

6. Products & Deal Vetting

  • All products are vetted by Doro for quality, quantity, and suitability for group sharing.
  • Vendors are vetted for identity, credibility, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Doro may remove or reject products or vendors at its discretion.

7. Payments & Refunds

  • Buyers must complete payments by the deadline specified for each deal.
  • If a deal fails to reach full payment, it is cancelled and buyers are refunded all amounts paid, excluding non-refundable platform or processing fees.
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3 days.
  • Platform fees are non-refundable.

8. Sharing & Distribution

  • Doro guarantees equal and fair sharing for all buyers based on slots purchased.
  • All sharing and distribution is supervised by Doro's team or appointed agents.
  • Products are verified for quality before distribution; deals may be cancelled if verification fails.

9. Prohibited Conduct

  • Misrepresenting your identity, products, or intentions.
  • Manipulating deals, portions, or payment processes.
  • Engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity on the Platform.
  • Violating laws, regulations, or third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Platform, including logos, designs, text, and software, is owned or licensed by Doro Technology Solutions Ltd.
  • Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written consent.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as-is” and “as available.” Doro does not guarantee uninterrupted service, accuracy of listings, or results from deals. Users acknowledge that fresh meat products may be subject to natural variations.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Liability is limited to the buyer's contribution excluding platform fees.
  • Doro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Platform use or transactions.

13. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Doro Technology Solutions Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claim, liability, loss, or expense arising from:

  • Violation of these TOS
  • Breach of applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Use of the Platform

14. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes should first be attempted to resolve directly with Doro via hello@doro.africa.
  • Unresolved disputes are governed by the laws of Nigeria.
  • Users consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Nigerian courts for any legal action arising from Platform use.

15. Termination

  • Doro may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these TOS or other policies.
  • Termination does not release users from financial obligations incurred prior to termination.

16. Modifications to TOS

Doro reserves the right to update or modify these TOS at any time. Users will be notified via the Platform, email, or other reasonable means. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated TOS.

17. Privacy

Use of the Platform is also governed by Doro's Privacy Policy, and , incorporated herein by reference.
